Jon Galligan

Jon Galligan has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jon currently holds the position of Director, Equity Analyst at Barrow Hanley Global Investors since June 2022. Before joining Barrow Hanley, they worked for CLSA, where they held various roles from 2008 to 2022. These roles include Group Deputy Head of Research, Regional Head of Research for Conglomerates & Casino Gaming, and Singapore Head of Equity Research. Jon also worked as an Equity Research Analyst and Junior Analyst in Hong Kong and China. Additionally, they have experience in sales trading and management trainee roles.

Jon Galligan has a strong education background, with a focus on business and language studies. Jon received their Bachelor of Science and Commerce degree from Santa Clara University in 2004, majoring in Marketing. During their time at Santa Clara, they also pursued their passion for Chinese culture and language, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Studies. Seeking further knowledge and skills in business, Jon enrolled in the BiMBA program at Peking University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
