Rand Wrighton, Jr., CFA has a diverse work experience. Rand started their career as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps from May 1996 to March 2000. In September 2000, they became an Associate at Deutsche Bank Securities and worked there until May 2003. Rand then joined Perry Capital Management Inc as an Intern Analyst in June 2004 for a duration of two months. Subsequently, from January 2004 to May 2005, they worked as an Intern Financial Analyst at the University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO). Currently, Rand holds the position of Managing Director at Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss, where they started in July 2005.

Rand Wrighton, Jr., CFA completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rand also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, which they obtained in August 2004 from the CFA Institute.
