Michael Hickman

Michael Hickman is a seasoned Senior Technical 3D Artist at Barrow Neurological Institute, with a career spanning over two decades. Since July 2000, responsibilities have included technical directing a 3D medical animation team, developing production tools, designing and implementing a Linux container render farm, server management, and providing technical support for animation processes. Michael has also contributed to the creation of 3D medical animations and illustrations for various media, utilizing advanced techniques such as photogrammetry and procedural texturing. Prior to this role, Michael held multiple positions as a Medical Animator, including an internship focused on neurosurgical animations. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Apple Sales at CompUSA. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Arizona State University in 2002.
