James Kugel

James Kugel, P.E. is an experienced geotechnical engineer currently serving as the Department Head of Geotechnical Engineering at Barry Isett & Associates since August 2019, overseeing all geotechnical operations and staff supervision. Previously, James held positions as a Geotechnical Engineer responsible for construction oversight and foundation design, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Villanova University where research focused on urban stormwater systems. James also served as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, conducting site investigations and preparing geotechnical reports, and gained early experience through internships at R3m Engineering Inc. and Flowserve Corporation. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University.
