Jane Coventry

Jane Coventry is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the field of professional indemnity and financial lines insurance. Currently serving as Special Counsel at Barry.Nilsson. since October 2021, Jane previously held the same title at Carter Newell Lawyers from June 2020 to September 2021, where involvement included defending professional negligence claims for a diverse range of professionals. Jane's career began at DLA Piper, progressing from Graduate Lawyer to Senior Associate, focusing on insurance and professional indemnity from March 2011 to March 2020. Additionally, Jane contributed to the Supreme Court of Victoria as Deputy Prothonotary and Counter Team Leader from March 2009 to February 2011. Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, completed between 2004 and 2008.
