Kyle Chapman

President at Barry-Wehmiller

As Barry-Wehmiller’s President, Kyle Chapman joins his father, Barry-Wehmiller Chairman and CEO Bob Chapman, in leading the organization, including its corporate finance, information technology and people teams, as well as its operating platforms (Consulting, Converting Solutions, Packaging Systems and Paper Systems) and hybrid equity firm (BW Forsyth Partners). In addition, he serves on Barry-Wehmiller’s board of directors.

To his role, Kyle brings 20-plus years of private equity and operating experience at various companies, including Bank of America, where he completed approximately $300 million in transactions across various industries. His strategic finance, goal-setting and -analysis, and mergers and acquisitions expertise helps inform his disciplined approach to fostering a vibrant organization.

Kyle’s tenure with Barry-Wehmiller began in 2009 when he co-founded BW Forsyth Partners with Barry-Wehmiller board member Chet Walker and Ryan Gable, who now serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. Kyle’s involvement with Barry-Wehmiller grew over time, as he served as a strategic financial advisor to the company’s leadership team from 2015 to 2019, while co-leading BW Forsyth Partners, and was named Barry-Wehmiller’s Interim Chief Financial Officer in early 2020, shortly before becoming President.

Kyle has a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
