Mike Monarchi

Mike Monarchi is the current Chief Financial Officer at Barry-Wehmiller. Mike has held various finance positions at Eaton, GE Power, and GE Aviation.

Monarchi started their career at GE Aviation in 2005 as a Finance Manager for the F414/F404 programs. Mike was then promoted to FP&A Leader for GE Aviation Systems in 2008 and later to Finance Integration Leader in 2007. In 2010, they became CFO of Engineering Finance and held this position until 2013 when they transitioned to GE Power.

At GE Power, Monarchi served as the Executive, HQ Finance Operations Leader from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of finance professionals and providing financial planning and analysis support for the company’s $32B Power Services business.

Most recently, Monarchi was the Vice President of Finance for Hydraulics at Eaton from February 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading the finance function for the $3.4B Hydraulics business.

Monarchi has a proven track record of delivering results in complex organizations and has played a key role in several major transactions, including the acquisition of Avio S.p.A.'s aerospace division ($4.3 billion) and the purchase price accounting for the ~$1B Revenue Sharing Partner (RSP) contracts.

Mike Monarchi has a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Union College. Mike is currently working as a software engineer.

They work with Tim Sullivan - Group President, Paper & Converting, Carol O'Neill - Group President, Packaging, and Joe Wilhelm - Group President, Consulting. Their manager is Bob Chapman, Chairman & CEO.
