Jk Jayavelu

JK Jayavelu has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. JK began their career at Compuware as a Consultant from December 1998 to December 2000. JK then joined SI International as a Technical Lead from December 2000 to October 2005. Following this, they worked at SRA International as a Project Manager from October 2005 to August 2013. From August 2013 to December 2017, they served as a Senior Managing Principal at CACI International Inc, where they held the role of Project Manager and Technical Integration Lead for the Integrated Personnel and Payroll System - Army. Currently, Jayavelu is the Managing Director at Bart & Associates, Inc. since January 2018.

JK Jayavelu has a diverse education history. JK first pursued an engineering degree at Anna University, where they obtained their B.Tech in Engineering from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they continued their education at The University of Toledo, completing their MS in Engineering from 1997 to 1998.

Later, Jayavelu pursued an MBA in Project Management at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2005 to 2007, further enhancing their knowledge and skills in this field.

In addition to their formal education, Jayavelu has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional credentials. In 2008, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. JK also holds an Oracle HCM Certification acquired in 2010 from Oracle.

Jayavelu's interest in agile methodologies is evident through their various certifications. JK became a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance in January 2018 and earned the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2018. JK further deepened their agile knowledge by obtaining an Agile Certification from ICAgile in August 2016. Jayavelu also acquired the SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020.

Lastly, Jayavelu obtained an additional certification in Earned Value Management (EVM) in June 2016. However, the institution from which they obtained this certification is not specified.
