Andy Kelley

Andy Kelley currently serves as the Principal Government & Community Relations Representative at BART since August 2023. With a robust background in governance and community engagement, Kelley has been the Vice Chair of the Alameda County Planning Commission since November 2016 and held the position of Chief of Staff for Councilmember Sophie Hahn in the City of Berkeley from July 2021 to August 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Communications Director at the California League of Conservation Voters and Online Programs at Democracy for America. Kelley began a career in advocacy and new media with positions at CREDO SuperPAC and the Courage Campaign, and is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley, where a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economics with a minor in Public Policy was earned.
