Dan Wu

Principal Planner

Dan Wu, AICP, currently serves as Principal Planner at BART, overseeing the Role in the Region Study and supporting BART’s strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Wu was a Senior Transportation Planner at San Francisco International Airport, where responsibilities included developing the Airport’s Transit First Policy and managing a Ground Transportation Management System project. Experience also encompasses a Senior Transportation Planner position with the City and County of San Francisco, focusing on multi-agency coordination for transit project designs, and earlier roles at Alameda County Transportation Commission, Cambridge Systematics, and other agencies, which involved environmental document preparation, safety project evaluations, and transit modeling. Dan Wu holds an M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
