Danielle Kirchmeyer

Danielle Kirchmeyer, PE, FPE, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at BART, where since November 2017, Danielle has been instrumental in the development of a safe and reliable emergency ventilation system for BART Silicon Valley Phase II, a key federal transit infrastructure project. Danielle's extensive project experience includes leading mechanical engineering efforts on various BART Measure RR projects, such as the Transbay Tube Damper Replacement and the design of new station facilities. Prior roles include engineering positions at Alta Vista Solutions, 3D Robotics, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and significant academic involvement at UC Berkeley, where Danielle completed a Master's and Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. Danielle has also engaged in outreach activities to promote engineering education among students of various age groups.
