Inez Gonzalez

Inez Gonzalez is an Independent Police Auditor at BART since 2025, bringing extensive experience from a career in law enforcement and government administration. Previously, they served as the Executive Director of the Police Civilian Oversight Board in Charlottesville and worked as a Public Safety Officer at Rider University. Inez has a long history with the City of Newark Police Department, where they held the rank of Captain for 27 years, supervising personnel and conducting internal investigations. They also worked as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of State and as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Amazon Global Robotics. Inez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Grantham University.
