Jack Mong is a seasoned civil engineer with over 20 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Civil Engineer at BART since April 2022 and previously as Senior Civil Engineer, Jack has a strong background in the design of roadways, highways, interchanges, and civil engineering site development, honed during a lengthy tenure at Arup from March 2006 to April 2022. Jack's expertise encompasses all aspects of civil engineering projects, including roadway geometry, drainage, and stormwater management. Earlier, Jack worked as an engineer at Mark Thomas & Company Inc., contributing to highway and local street improvement projects in the Bay Area. Jack holds a Master of Science (MS) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from San José State University.
