Janice Li

Janice Li is an accomplished public servant and community advocate, currently serving as a BART Board Director since December 2018, with re-election in November 2022 to represent District 8. Simultaneously, Janice holds leadership roles as Board President and Board Vice President at Chinese for Affirmative Action, and serves as Coalition Director for the Coalition for Community Safety & Justice, which addresses issues impacting the Asian community. Previously, Janice was the Advocacy Director at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, guiding campaigns to promote cycling as a primary mode of transportation, and also worked as a Community Organizer. Janice's earlier experience includes founding the Grant Street Neighborhood Center to support community engagement, interning with the Parliament of Australia, and assisting in New York City Public Schools. Janice holds a Bachelor's degree in Individualized Study from New York University and has further education from The Australian National University.
