Jimmy Mahady is an accomplished financial analyst with extensive experience in policy analysis and sustainability research. Currently serving as Principal Financial Analyst at BART since July 2022, Jimmy previously held roles as a Senior Financial Analyst at the same organization and as a Regulatory Analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission from June 2020 to June 2022. Earlier experiences include positions as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis and the California Institute for Energy and Environment, alongside research and analytical roles at Ross Strategic, Climate Solutions, and the U.S. Department of State as a Fulbright Fellow. Jimmy holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Resource Economics from UC Davis and a Master of Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, as well as a double major in Spanish and International Studies, Economics, and Political Science from the University of Washington.
