Jorge Oseguera

Jorge Oseguera is an experienced auditor currently serving as the Deputy Inspector General at BART since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jorge worked as the City Auditor for the City of Sacramento from March 2010 to January 2024, where responsibilities included conducting audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and providing the Mayor, City Council, and the public with objective and timely information aimed at enhancing the City's operations and efficiency. Jorge's career also includes serving as a Senior Auditor for the City of San Jose from September 2001 to March 2010. Jorge holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, completed in 2001.
