Joy Sharma, P.E. currently serves as the Chief Infrastructure Delivery Officer at BART since November 2023. Prior to this role, Joy held several positions at Los Angeles Metro, including Senior Director of Construction Management and Director of Construction Management from June 2022 to November 2023. Joy also served as Senior Project Manager at Caltrain from April 2019 to April 2021, and spent over 12 years at Caltrans as a Senior Construction Engineer from October 2006 to March 2019. Early career experience includes working as a Project Manager for General Contractors from 2002 to 2006. Joy Sharma holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from San José State University, attained between 2002 and 2004.
