Matthew Rinn is a seasoned community leader and risk management specialist. They served as the Education Commissioner and held multiple roles, including Mayor and Vice Mayor, for the City of Pleasant Hill from 2013 to 2016. Currently, Matthew is a member of the Board of Directors for both the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority and BART, as well as the owner of Matthew Rinn State Farm Agency since 2008. Their extensive experience also includes positions as a Trustee for the Contra Costa Community College District and Chairman of the Board for the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce.
