Michael Eiseman has a diverse background in financial planning and urban planning, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning at BART since December 2015, Michael has held previous positions including Manager of Financial Planning and Principal Financial Analyst. Prior to joining BART, Michael worked at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates as a Senior Planner and served as Planning Manager at the Mission Economic Development Agency. Michael's earlier experience includes roles at The Urban Institute as a Research Associate and at the Electoral Institute of Southern Africa as a Research Assistant. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis between 1998 and 2002.
