Phoebe Cheng

Phoebe Cheng is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in civil and structural engineering, currently serving as the Group Manager of Civil, Structural, Track Engineering at BART since September 2018. In this role, Phoebe leads multiple functional departments overseeing over 24,800 assets and $2 billion in capital and operating projects, while also spearheading quality improvement initiatives. Previous positions include Structural Engineering Division Manager, where responsibilities encompassed setting division goals and managing a team of 12 engineers, and Principal Engineer, Project Manager, overseeing a significant extension project with an estimated cost of $12 billion.
