Roland Lam

Roland Lam is an experienced police officer currently serving with BART since September 2019. Previously, Roland held the position of Field Training Officer and Police Officer II at the Oakland Unified School District from October 2015 to September 2019, where responsibilities included mentoring new officers and managing community outreach initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a police officer at UCSF Police Department from October 2006 to January 2015, where supervisory duties involved ensuring public safety in various campus environments. Roland began a career in law enforcement as an intern with the City and County of San Francisco from September 2004 to 2006, focusing on rehabilitative efforts for juveniles. Roland holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from San Francisco State University and has completed undergraduate studies in Business Administration at San José State University.
