Ryan Greene-Roesel has extensive experience in transportation planning and accessibility, currently serving as the Acting Director of Customer Access and Accessibility at BART since September 2016, with a progression of roles including Manager of Access and Accessibility, Parking Program Manager, and Principal Planner. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Transportation Planner at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority from April 2013 to September 2016, and a Senior Associate position at Cambridge Systematics from June 2007 to March 2013. Ryan began a career in research at UC Berkeley SafeTrec and holds a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley (2005-2007) and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from William & Mary (1997-2001). Early career experience includes positions at the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy and a research internship at the American University in Cairo.
