Steve Shatz

Steve Shatz currently serves as the Director of Risk & Insurance Management at BART since May 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing risk strategies and insurance programs. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Claims Manager at BART and worked as an Account Manager at George Hills Company from July 2012 to April 2015, managing third-party administration of self-insured accounts and investigating high exposure casualty claims for out-of-state carriers. Steve’s experience also includes serving as a Sr. Adjuster and Account Manager at John Glenn Adjusters & Administrators, Inc. from September 2009 to June 2012, where Steve managed accounts for self-insured public entities and conducted high exposure investigations for commercial transportation clients.
