Tracy Johnson

Tracy Johnson, P.E., serves as the Chief Design & Construction Officer and Group Manager of Civil/Structural Engineering & Construction Management at the SF Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) since September 2012, overseeing the planning and coordination of critical engineering and construction divisions. Tracy assumed the role of Superintendent Way & Facilities Maintenance following the labor strike of 2013, managing multiple departments including Track & Structures. Prior experience includes serving as Seismic Engineering Manager at BART from 2007 to 2012, providing technical oversight for a $1.2 billion Earthquake Safety Program. Tracy also contributed as a Board Member at WTS between 2002 and 2007. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
