Zhiming Fan

Zhiming Fan is an experienced civil engineer and project manager currently serving as Director of Bus Infrastructure & Capital Projects at San Mateo County Transit District, overseeing the development of charging and hydrogen infrastructures for zero-emission buses. In addition, Zhiming holds the position of Acting Senior Project Manager at BART, managing high-profile construction projects and leading the development of a Request for Proposal for the BART Police Department Headquarters. Zhiming's prior experience includes successfully delivering an $800 million BART extension project and station modernization efforts, along with significant roles at BART and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. Zhiming holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Project Management Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
