The Law Enforcement Team at BART ensures the safety and security of all riders and staff across various zones. This team, composed of high-ranking officials such as Lieutenants and the Chief of Police, is responsible for overseeing personnel training, coordinating safety protocols, and managing law enforcement operations to maintain a secure transit environment, particularly focusing on less crowded travel times as encouraged by the BART Perks pilot program.
