Michael Jacobs

Michael Jacobs has a diverse work experience in the engineering and consulting industry. Michael started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at GJAI Consulting Engineers in 2000 and stayed with the company until 2004. In 2001, they joined PWI Consulting Engineers as a Team Leader - Senior Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Brinjac Engineering as a Senior Engineering Manager. Since 2014, they have been working at Barton Associates, Inc. where they initially served as a Principal, Senior Client Manager and later became the Vice President in January 2019.

Michael Jacobs obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, from 1995 to 1999. Michael then pursued a Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, from 2000 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, Michael Jacobs holds certifications as a LEED Accredited Professional from USGBC and as a Professional Engineer in several states, including GA, IN, MD, MI, NC, NJ, OH, RI, PA, SC, VA, and WV.
