Kevin Pennington

VP, Academic Affairs at Barton College

Dr. Kevin Pennington is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Barton College. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, conducting research and development at both the Mayo Clinic and GlaxoSmithKline. Dr. Pennington's work has been instrumental in advances in our understanding of the role of NF-kB in the differentiation of monocytes to macrophages, as well as in the development of drug resistance by HIV. Kevin is a respected leader in their field, and their work has helped to shape the way we think about these important issues.

Kevin Pennington received their BS in Zoology from North Carolina State University and their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
