Michael Ning

Michael Ning is a highly experienced professional in finance and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at both Baruch College since January 2020 and Fordham University since July 2018, specializing in Quantitative Finance and Machine Learning. Previously, Michael held significant leadership roles in the investment sector, including Managing Director at MacKay Shields LLC and Chief Investment Officer at PhaseCapital LP. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at First Eagle Investments, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-asset and absolute return funds, as well as holding a similar position at AllianceBernstein with a focus on absolute return strategies. Michael's career began at Citi as a Senior Research Analyst. Academic credentials include a DPhil in Computation from the University of Oxford, earned from 1994 to 1998.
