Jassim Al-Mejali has a diverse work experience starting from their trainee position at QATAR PETROLEUM in 2005. Jassim then worked at Qatalum, where they progressed from a Process Engineer to Head of Operations between 2010 and 2018. In 2018, they joined Barzan Holdings as a Research and Development Manager until 2022. Jassim briefly served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Barzan Industrial Group (BIG) in 2022. Currently, Jassim holds the position of Engineering & Systems Director at Barzan Holdings starting in 2023.
Jassim Al-Mejali completed their Associate's degree in an unknown field of study at the Academic Bridge Program (ABP) in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2010. Jassim then attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2012, where they earned another Associate's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, before finally completing their Master of Science (MSc) in Material Science and Technology at Qatar University from 2013 to 2015.
