Julio Portabella Macchi

Julio Portabella Macchi has extensive work experience in various roles and companies within the life science and consultancy industries. Julio is currently the Senior Principal - Customer Engagement at BASE life science since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at IQVIA as the Tech Lead for Spain & Portugal from April 2015 to March 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at Cegedim Relationship Management, including CRM Operations Director Spain from July 2007 to July 2015 and BU Director from July 2004 to July 2007. Julio also worked at Synavant as Operations Director from January 2002 to July 2004, at IMS Health as a Client Service Manager from 1998 to 2001, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Consultant from 1997 to 1998.

Julio Portabella Macchi pursued their first degree at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 1987 to 1993. Julio completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in Computer Science during this period. Following this, in 1993, Julio attended Middlesex University for a brief time and obtained a Master's degree in Communication in Computing, focusing their studies on this specific field.
