Ton van der Pijl

Ton van der Pijl has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in logistics and operations. Ton is currently serving as the Chief Logistics Officer at Base Logistics and HealthLink Europe & International. Prior to this, Ton was the Chairman of the Board at RSC De Zuidwesthoek, a thriving cycling club. Ton has also held roles such as Vice President Global Logistics at Arjo, Senior Director Logistics Europe, Middle East & Africa at Getinge Group, and Site Manager at ArjoHuntleigh Nederland BV. Ton has a strong background in managing operations and driving efficiency in the healthcare and medical device industries.

Ton van der Pijl attended Ir AJ Versfelt MTS from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. From 1987 to 1990, they further pursued their education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in the field of Technical Computer Engineering. Lastly, they attended Scutos MTS from 1991 to 1992, earning another Bachelor's degree, this time in Commercial Electronics.
