Karlisa Burleson

Karlisa Burleson has over two decades of experience in finance, operations, and production across various roles and companies. Currently serving as a Finance and Operations professional at Base22 since September 2007, Karlisa's entrepreneurial journey began in 2000, which included ownership of businesses such as ya!ya from 2004 to 2009. Previous roles include independent freelancing as a producer, production coordinator, casting director, video editor, and voice-over talent from 1996 to 2000, and ownership positions at Scenic Wonders and Mars Enterprise in the 1990s. Karlisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Art from The University of Texas at Arlington and has also pursued studies at the University of Houston and the University of North Texas.
