Steve Kroner

Steve Kroner has extensive experience in sports journalism, serving as a Sportswriter and Copy Editor at the San Francisco Chronicle since November 1998. Additionally, Steve has been a Correspondent for Baseball America since October 2016, focusing on features related to prospects in the San Francisco Giants' organization. Previous roles include Sports Producer at KTVU Channel 2 from 1998 to 1999 and Sports Producer/Reporter at KPIX CBS5 from July 1981 to January 1998. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where studies were completed between 1977 and 1981, and graduated from Capuchino High School in 1977.
