Ariane Gomes

Ariane C. Gomes is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Baseimmune, a data-driven platform focused on pathogen analysis for antigen discovery and vaccine design, since October 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a postdoctoral researcher at UCL from March 2019 to January 2021, and a summer intern in the Immunology and Rheumatology lab at Stanford University in June 2013. Earlier roles encompass a research assistant position at Fiocruz from April 2009 to March 2011, and serving as a teaching assistant for a Cellular and Molecular Immunology course at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from March 2010 to December 2010. Ariane C. Gomes holds a Ph.D. in Immunology and Vaccine Development from the University of Oxford (2014-2018), an exchange program in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology (2012-2013), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2009-2013).
