Head of Innovation Space & Infrastructure at Basel Area Business & Innovation

Karin Crisanto has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Karin currently holds the position of Head of Innovation & Infrastructure at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area, which they started in May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Innovation Space & Infrastructure at Basel Area Business & Innovation, starting in the same year.

In 2019, Karin worked as the Business Operations Lead at CHRYSALIS Services AG, where they were responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling work processes. Karin also handled financial and marketing management and supported business development. Karin'stenure at CHRYSALIS Services AG lasted from October 2019 to April 2020.

Before joining CHRYSALIS, Karin held various roles at Regus, a company specializing in flexible office space solutions. From 2011 to 2019, they served as a Team Lead Community Manager, an Area Manager, a General Manager, and a Centre Manager, overseeing operations across multiple business centers and leading teams to success.

Karin started their career at Regus as a Centre Manager in 2002, where they focused on delivering exceptional customer service and increasing occupancy. Karin remained in this role until February 2006. Prior to that, Karin worked as an Assistant Centre Manager at Regus from April 1999 to October 2001.

Between 1997 and 1999, Karin worked as the Assistant to the General Manager at CITECO S.A. (Branch Office of MAN). Karin also gained experience in the banking industry, working as a Junior Account Officer at CITICORP / CITIBANK from 1988 to 1997.

Karin's educational background includes completing Education/Commercial Studies at Albert Müller Verlag AG from April 1984 to April 1987. Overall, Karin has significant experience in management, operations, and business development roles across various industries.

Karin Crisanto has a diverse education history. In 2020, they obtained an Innovation Strategy Certificate from Cornell University. Lastly, from 1984 to 1987, they completed their Commercial Studies, Typ R, at Kaufmännische Berufsschule Horgen, specializing in Kaufmännische Angestellte, Typ R.

In addition to their academic achievements, Karin also holds a certificate in HBDI (Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument) from HBDI, which they obtained in March 2020.
