Bridgette West-Williams has held a variety of roles in the communications and public affairs fields since 2007. Bridgette began their career as a News Editor at the K-State Collegian in 2007. In 2009, they held a Public Relations and Marketing Intern position at Wichita Clinic, followed by a Public Relations Specialist role at the American Red Cross Midway-Kansas Chapter. That same year, they also began a Marketing/Communications Specialist position at Via Christi Health, which eventually evolved into a Marketing/Brand Coordinator role. In 2014, they served as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Friends University, while also working as a Public Relations Contractor at The Workroom. Since 2015, Bridgette has been the Vice President of Strategy + Business Development at Baseline Creative Inc.
Bridgette West-Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University in Public Relations and Political Science. Bridgette then earned a Master of Business Law from Friends University in Law from 2013 to 2015. In May 2019, they obtained a GLSEN DEI Professional Development Facilitator, LGBTQ+ DEI and Intersectionality certification from GLSEN. Bridgette also has a Diversity & Inclusion certificate from eCornell.
