Brandy Cooks-Thomas

Brandy Cooks-Thomas, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a seasoned psychiatric nurse practitioner currently serving at BasePoint Academy since August 2021. With extensive experience in the mental health field, Brandy has cultivated expertise through previous roles, including psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Delhi Community Center and family nurse practitioner at Delhi Community Health Center, where responsibilities included assessing, diagnosing, and managing care for diverse patient populations. Brandy's early career in education included teaching at various middle schools in New York. Brandy holds multiple degrees, including a Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing from Emory University, along with a strong educational background in biology and education.
