Tamika Terry, LPC-A, NCC, currently serves as a Primary Therapist at BasePoint Academy and a Therapist at Thrive House Wellness, providing individual therapy for clients aged 5 and up dealing with mental and emotional challenges. Previous experience includes a Manager role in Strategic Philanthropy at The Commit Partnership and a Graduate-level Internship at the Irving Family Advocacy Center, where counseling for trauma survivors was a focus. Tamika also has experience as a Practicum Student at ChristianWorks for Children, conducting individual and group counseling sessions, and held managerial positions in fundraising at both the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Prestonwood Pregnancy Center. Tamika holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State University-San Marcos, and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
