Alex Verboon is the CTO and Principal Cyber Security Consultant at baseVISION AG, where they support clients in building cyber defenses and adopting Microsoft Security Solutions. With 35 years of experience in IT, Alex has worked at companies such as ABB and Swiss Re, holding various roles in IT support, application development, and technical architecture. They have been recognized as a Microsoft MVP in Security and are actively involved in improving security postures and infrastructure hygiene. Alex took a sabbatical in 2018 to further their learning before starting their current position.
