Abhishek Singh

Abhishek Singh is a scientist at BASF since February 2021, focusing on protein design and sustainable agriculture solutions. Prior to this role, Abhishek served as a Research Assistant Professor and Research Associate at North Carolina State University from August 2018 to February 2021. As a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University from June 2014 to July 2018, Abhishek contributed to the Eastman Chemicals tire rubber project, developing models for crosslinked rubber blends. Abhishek also held a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, advancing coarse grain multi-scale models for biopolymers. Early career work included serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, focusing on fabric-based materials for canal lining. Abhishek holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University, an MS in Packaging from Michigan State University, an M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a B.Tech in Petrochemicals from Aligarh Muslim University.
