Amita Gupta

Amita Gupta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as Vice President at BASF, Amita holds multiple leadership roles, including full P&L responsibility for the Standard Surfactants Business and oversight of key product management and business services teams in Care Chemicals North America. Previously, Amita worked at General Chemical, managing a $300MM water treatment chemicals business and driving significant profitability growth. Amita’s early career at Infineum involved various roles focused on engine oils and lubricants, contributing to formulation and manufacturing optimization. Amita holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
