Aurélie Defferrard

Aurélie Defferrard is a seasoned professional in bioinformatics and data management with significant experience spanning over two decades. At BASF, from August 2018 to February 2025, Aurélie held roles including Product Family Manager, Program Leader, and Project Leader, where responsibilities encompassed leading large teams to develop applications for research data registration, storage, and analysis. Prior to BASF, Aurélie worked at Bayer Crop Science NV from February 2005 to July 2018, contributing as a Project Lead and Computational Scientist in global data management solutions and bioinformatics platforms. Aurélie's career began with training positions at RhoBio, INRA, and Moët & Chandon. Aurélie holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Université de Rouen and a Master's degree in Cell Biology and Physiology from Université de Picardie Jules Verne.
