Behzad Rezaeifar

Behzad Rezaeifar is a highly motivated biomedical engineer with a multidisciplinary background in programming, medical imaging, image processing, AI, and electrical engineering. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sadjad University of Technology and continued their studies with a Master's and dual Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Maastricht University. Currently, they work as a Computer Vision Scientist at BASF, following a postdoctoral research position at Maastricht University where they focused on cancer cachexia in NSCLC patients using advanced AI segmentation models. Prior to this, they contributed to research on glioblastoma tumors at Maastro clinic.
