Lucia Marinozzi has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Lucia started their career as a Junior Data Scientist at Azimut in July 2017 and worked there until October 2019. After that, they joined Generali Italia as a Data Scientist, focusing on projects related to the life insurance sector and anti-fraud area from October 2019 to June 2021. During their time at Generali Italia, they worked on various projects including virtual underwriter, premium monthly forecasting, survival analysis, and binary classifiers. In June 2021, Lucia joined Enel Group as an Applied Scientist specializing in computer vision. At Enel Group, they were involved in video understanding, lightning video classification, computer vision on images, and development of internal repositories. Currently, Lucia is serving as a Data Scientist at PhAST, specializing in computer vision.
Lucia Marinozzi began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università Politecnica delle Marche from 2011 to 2014. Lucia then pursued a Master's degree in Finance from Università di Trento, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. During their time at Università di Trento, they also conducted thesis research at the University of Lausanne - UNIL in 2016 and 2017.
In 2019, Lucia Marinozzi further enhanced their skills by completing the Data Science Module Unit I: Scientific Computing and Python for Data Science from WorldQuant University. Following this, they obtained the BIG DIVE 8 - Data Science Intensive Training certification from TOP-IX Consortium in July 2019. Later in the same year, they completed the Data Science Module Unit II: Machine Learning and Statistical Analysis from WorldQuant University in September 2019.
In 2020, Lucia Marinozzi embarked on various certifications relating to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Lucia completed the Smart Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI on GCP certification from Coursera in June 2020, followed by the Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals in the same month. In October 2020, they obtained the certification for Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform Specialization, and in December 2020, they completed the Advanced Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform Specialization, both from Coursera. Continuing their education, they obtained the Spark and Python for Big Data with PySpark certification from Udemy in January 2021. Additionally, they obtained the Master Alta Formazione - Deep Learning certification from Experis Academy in January 2021.
To further enhance their expertise, Lucia Marinozzi pursued an Advanced Master's degree in Deep Learning at Experis Academy from 2020 to 2021.
