Iulia Cretean

Iulia Cretean is the Head of HR at BASF, where they oversee local branch operations, including Human Resources Management, Finance, Procurement, and Facility Management. With over a decade of experience in Operations and Human Resources, Iulia has a strong focus on Operations Improvement, Talent Development, and digitalization projects within international organizations. Prior to their current role, Iulia served as HR Manager at BASF, responsible for the HR function across multiple business units in Romania. They began their career as an Assistant to the General Manager at SC ROMCARTON SA and have held various positions in marketing and short-term contract roles. Iulia holds a BA in Sociology and a Master's in European Social Policies from Bucharest University.
