Pia van Gessel served as the Head of Controlling for the Regional Business Unit Intermediates Europe. Previously, Pia held several key positions at BASF, including Staff to President Europe, Middle East, Africa, and roles in Corporate Finance and Global Credit Risk Management. Pia completed a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration at Hochschule Ludwigshafen, followed by dual Master of Science degrees in International Management from Nova School of Business and Economics and Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze (CEMS). In addition, Pia engaged in multiple internships across various functions within BASF during academic studies.
