Robert Pack

Robert Pack serves as the Chief Technology Lead at BASF since June 2013, where responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional product teams to enhance the plant analytics platform for global manufacturing and supply chain across over 900 plants. Robert has held various roles at BASF, including Cloud Architect and Development Lead, focusing on technological leadership, big-data technologies, and analytics for the chemical process industry. In addition, Robert is a Delta Lake Committer at The Linux Foundation since November 2021. Educational qualifications include a Diplom in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University and a Diplomarbeit in Process Systems Engineering from Imperial College London. Previous experience includes academic internships and research roles at RWTH Aachen University and other organizations.
