Sergio Unglert

Sergio Unglert is an experienced procurement and supply chain management professional with a strong background in SAP solutions and strategic implementation. Currently serving as Head of Procurement at BASF since 2011, Sergio leads a team to ensure the reliable supply of raw materials and services across multiple sites while driving enhancements in procurement processes. Previous roles include Head of SAP Logistics at SIX and Head of SAP Factory at Franke, where Sergio oversaw the deployment and operation of SAP systems. With a foundational career at Ciba and La Prairie, along with consulting experience at SAP, Sergio possesses extensive knowledge in SCM and ITIL processes. Educational credentials include a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from ETH Zürich, a Post Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the University of Chicago, an Executive MBA, and several engineering degrees in Chemical Engineering.
