Sven van Den Eeckhout

Sven Van den Eeckhout has extensive experience in engineering and management roles within BASF, currently serving as the Head of Technical Verbund Services since September 2021, overseeing contractor management, turnaround management, and technical support. Prior to this role, Sven worked as the Manager of Turnaround Management, leading shutdown planning and execution at the BASF Antwerp site. From January 2017 to August 2021, Sven held the position of Head of the Polyol Cluster at BASF Schwarzheide GmbH, managing multiple polyol production plants. Previous positions at BASF included Operations Manager for the Polyetherol Plant, Senior Manager, and various leadership roles in maintenance, HR development, and technical services. Sven holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Ghent University and has furthered education in strategic training and development at Vlerick Business School.
